QUALITY MANAGEMENT
The Flinchbaugh Company and its management team fully embrace the principles and practices of the ISO quality management system. We achieved ISO 9001 quality registration in 1998 and have continued to update that certification.
Presently, The Flinchbaugh Company is ISO 9001:2015 certified by SCB (Systems Certifications Body). Our strict inventory control and production management systems enable us to meet even the most demanding production schedules and requirements at a highly competitive price.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Our philosophy is to build quality into the project from the very start. At The Flinchbaugh Company, we view our Quality Assurance staff as the "voice of the customer," representing our clients' best interests throughout the manufacturing process. We also view machine operator staff as critical variables of process control.
Our ISO 9001:2015 quality system helps us control all manufacturing process data, ensuring reliable and accurate dimensional machining. We also maintain cost data, which helps ensure quick quote turnaround and highly competitive pricing.
The Flinchbaugh Company utilizes various Quality Assurance procedures and equipment to maintain its ISO system. We complete a contract review checklist upon receipt of every customer order. First-Piece inspections are conducted by certified personnel before the start of each manufacturing set up by the operator, and in-process inspections are performed with a pre-defined frequency throughout the duration of the job processing.
Detailed work instructions, special instructions, and drawings are provided to the operators in a job packet created for each customer order. Upon receipt of job materials, inspection is performed, and the final inspections are completed before your order is shipped.
Flinchbaugh also has a range of calibrated inspection equipment such as our COORD3 CNC CMM, MAHR Formtester, Brown and Sharpe CMM, Jones and Lamson comparator with digit readout, digital profilometer, and MAHR Micro-Hite. We also have numerous manual gauges to ensure we can accurately inspect everything we manufacture.
